Victoria A. Cobbah is an accomplished professional who has made significant contributions to the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC). Currently serving as Deputy Director and Head of GIPC’s Investor Aftercare Division since 2020, she established the Centre’s brand-new Aftercare Division. Prior to her current role, Victoria worked at the Secretariats of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer respectively from 2013 to 2020. During this time, she successfully planned, coordinated, and executed several investment promotion missions, events, and projects, while also profiling and tracking divisional annual workplans.

Before joining GIPC, Victoria served as a Programme Officer for Development Cooperation at the Royal Norwegian Embassy Accra, with the role of Desk Officer for Ghana and Liberia. She also worked with the Development Cooperation Section of the Canadian High Commission for eight years.

Victoria’s vast experience cuts across various sectors, including multilateral, governmental, private, and non-governmental. Her roles have ranged from administration to project coordination and management, customer/client service, and business development, spanning over 25 years. She has also worked on several voluntary projects, some with NGOs.

Victoria’s academic qualifications include an Executive Masters in Business Administration from GIMPA in Accra, Ghana, a Diploma in Financial Services Management from the Institute of Financial Services (Chartered Institute of Bankers) in Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. She has also completed several professional training courses, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
