Mr. Gideon Baffoe is a Principal Investment Promotion Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre. He oversees the Management Information System (MIS) department that is responsible for planning, implementing and managing application systems and IT infrastructure.

With over a decade of professional experience, Mr. Baffoe has a proven track record in managing IT services for both private and government institutions. In his role at the Centre, Mr. Baffoe has successfully led the planning, implementation, and management of various application systems, including Enterprise Asset Management, Inventory Management, Human Resource, Payroll and Financials Management, Performance Management, Learning Management, Analytics and Business Intelligence Technology, and Data Warehouse Systems.

Prior to joining the Centre in 2016, Mr. Baffoe held various positions as a Technical Consultant, Systems Programmer Analyst, and Senior Information Technology Instructor. He also has a wealth of academic qualifications, including a master’s degree in Informatics from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. Additionally, he is an Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite 11g Certified Implementation Specialist.
