Registration Renewal

Companies are required to renew their certificate every two (2) years as stated in Section 24(3) of the GIPC Act 865.

Write a status/ half year report per the GIPC guidelines.

Attach the following documents to the completed registration renewal form and status report : 

  • Digital Address (Ghana Post GPS)
  • Any latest Audited Accounts or Financial Statements
  • Recent PAYE (Lists and Receipts) and SSNIT Payments (Lists and Receipts)
  • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Copy of Permits for all expatriates
  • Re-registration certificate from Office of the Registrar of Companies (Where applicable)
  • Change profile document from Office of the Registrar of Companies (Where applicable)
  • A valid National ID card of the officer submitting the application

    Scan all relevant documents and submit to the GIPC investor services department via the email address investor.services@gipc.gov.gh

    NOTE

    The Renewal Certification will be issued by the Centre as the final step in the Renewal Process once the application is in good order and payments have been made (please refer to the fee structure). This process typically takes five (5) working days to complete, as required by law.
