Eugenia is currently a Deputy Director at Ghana’s lead Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) – the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), leading the Research Team.
She is currently influencing the Centre’s performance and policies related to Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) through investment targeting, facilitation services and content creation while proposing investment promotion best practices through her work, especially after her one year stint at the University of Manchester, studying Development Economics and Policy under the prestigious Chevening Scholarship awards. She also has an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy from the Maastricht School of Management – Netherlands and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana in Mathematics and Computer Science. She is also the focal person for coordinating GIPC’s external relations with donor bodies.
Eugenia has worked with the Centre for the past twelve (12) years and has been key in promoting Ghana’s investment opportunities and producing the Centre’s promotional tools including Sector Profiles and the GIPC Quarterly Investment Report.
She is currently leading her dynamic and proactive team to support the GIPC in making Ghana the hub for investments in Africa and to drive the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda, even as we gear up for the operationalization of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
She hopes to bring change in the work ethics and attitudes of the Centre.
