Abdul Razak Baba is currently the Acting Deputy CEO of the GIPC. He brings over a decade of extensive experience in strategic transaction advisory, investment management, and digital transformation.

Before joining the GIPC, Mr. Baba served as a Director at EY-Parthenon, the global strategy consulting arm of Ernst & Young (EY), where he led strategic transaction advisory for top-tier private equity clients. He also advised Fortune 500 companies on complex multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, carve-outs, and joint ventures across sectors including healthcare, technology, and advanced manufacturing.

His career also includes roles in data strategy and analytics at Inflexxion, a healthcare technology startup, and positions at Deloitte and Northrop Grumman, focusing on digital transformation and business process improvement.

Mr. Baba holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, an MSc in Information Systems from Strayer University, and a BA in Economics from the University of Science and Technology. He is also a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I, and a Certified Associate in Project Management.
