Robert Ahomka-Lindsay is an entrepreneur and finance specialist. He is the current CEO of Lindsay Capital Ltd., a small, specialized finance and advisory company that offers bespoke services to clients. Prior to this role, he served as the Deputy Minister responsible for Industry under Ghana’s Ministry of Trade and Industry from 2017 to 2021. He also previously served as the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) from 2007 to 2009.

Ahomka-Lindsay has over 20 years of experience in the international banking and finance sector across Europe, the United States, and Africa. He served as the Vice President of Coca-Cola Africa Group from 1999 to 2006 and as the Eastern African Regional Director for the CDC Group/Actis, where he was responsible for originating, analyzing, and executing new business in countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Rwanda, Sudan, and Seychelles.

Earlier in his career, Ahomka-Lindsay worked as an executive with the NatWest Bank in the United Kingdom, where he was responsible for credit risk, project finance, regulation and management, aerospace lending, corporate and business management, leasing, and asset finance. He has served on over 30 boards in various countries and institutions in Africa, Europe, and North America, including CAL Bank and Ghana EXIM Bank, where he was Chairman of the Board. He also served on the World Bank’s Economic Advisory Councils with African presidents in Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Mali, and Senegal.

Ahomka-Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s Degree (with honors) in Economics from the University of Sussex (UK) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago (USA). He has extensive experience dealing with national and regional governments, the Bretton Woods Institutions, and the private sector across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States.
