Reginald Yofi Grant’s over a three-decade-long career in investment banking and finance makes him a formidable leader as he heads the Ghana Investment Promotion Center under the Office of the President of Ghana. Yofi’s expertise and experience have earned him recognition as a skilled leader and prominent financial policy advisor, not only in Ghana but beyond its borders.
Yofi has a proven track record of leading advisory mandates for equity and debt transactions, including his notable role in the creation and implementation of the AAF SME Fund LLC, which stands as one of the largest agriculture funds in sub-Saharan Africa. As a council member of the Continental Business Network of the African Union and a board member of the OACP Endowment and Trust Fund, Yofi remains committed to shaping the continent’s financial and economic transformation.
Yofi serves on the Steering Board of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies, representing sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, he is actively involved in multiple private and public sector boards and committees, such as the Public Private Partnership Approvals Board, Ghana Export Promotion Authority Board, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Advisory Board, Ghana International Financial Services Advisory Committee, and UK-Ghana Investor Group.
Under Yofi’s leadership, the Ghana Investment Promotion Center has been named the best Investment Promotion Agency in West and Central Africa for five consecutive years and has also been awarded the best investment promotion agency in Africa for four years in a row by CFI.co. His leadership has also earned him recognition, including the Outstanding Public Leadership Award at the 2022 Ghana CEO’s Summit and the Business Personality of the Year 2022 by International Investor Magazine.
Currently, Yofi is collaborating with the Ground Up Project and other partners to raise a $250 million SDG-SME Fund of Funds, supported by Convergence, the global network for blended finance. Yofi is a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, a testament to his exceptional leadership skills and his commitment to driving sustainable economic growth and development in Ghana and on the African continent.
